First place went to Mr. And Mrs. Harry Jordan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A large yellow and white striped tent is set up with the big Excalibur banner waving a hearty welcome to all Excalibur owners.

The party takes up from where it left off on Saturday night with an old fashioned family style cookout.

And old alike could be seen polishing, dusting and waxing.

The second place trophy went to Mr. And Mrs. Peter Dreifuss of Glenview, Illinois.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I can guarantee that living in or near the area of the rally does not give anyone an upper hand . . . I had the highest score of any rally participant and I have lived in Milwaukee all my life.

Sally and Steven Stevens are to be congratulated for once again coming up with a clever, challenging and scenic rally course.

Crowds were attracted to the compound as the Excaliburs lined up according to series for the concours d'Elegance. Everybody got into the act preparing for the judging.

The judges worked their way from one car to the next awarding points for beauty, based on odometer reading, paint, body condition, chrome, stainless steel, undercarriage, tires, aluminum and interior.

While the judging was going on, the owners had an opportunity to walk through the pits and visit with the drivers and crews of the Indy type cars that were to race that afternoon in the Tony Bettenhausen 500. One of the most spectacular events of the weekend was the parade lap of Excaliburs just prior to the start of the race. Imagine ... 92 of these beauties, bumper to bumper around the one mile oval track!

What a weekend . . . for those of you who missed it, we not only invite you to attend next year, we suggest that you start making plans to be here for sure!

Early on Sunday morning, the group is gathering at the Excalibur compound at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Race Track for this final day of festivities. Here in the infield of the one mile oval race track, exclusive parking is made available to Excalibur owners.
