Excalibur Owners To Rally
In Reno May 30 - June 1

The Reno rally is getting close and time
    is quickly running out,
So read this humble attempt at verse
and see what the whole thing's
    about.

The setting is Reno, Nevada, with your
    beds at the MGM Grand
So make your reservations early, while
you have this reminder in hand.

From the time you check in on Friday,
    until your departure for home,
A guard will watch over your car as if it
    were one of his own.

Dan Brush of Excalibur-West will host
    this gala celebration
Along with David and Steve Stevens,
    who founded the automobile
    corporation.

We'll kick off the weekend with a
    welcome reception, featuring
    cocktails and hors d'oeuvre delights
And the sounds of "swing era" bands
will get you "In The Mood" for the
    rest of the night.

Then enjoy your evening in Reno, but
    Saturday morning be sure not
    to dally,
'Cuz we'll meet in the Excalibur
    compound at 8, for breakfast
and the "low down" on the rally.

A rally, "What's that?", some of you
might ask, is an event we
    truly endorse.
It's going from point A to point B with
only clues to follow the course.

First place is elusive in this unusual sport
    due to many unseen complications,
And sometimes it takes a marriage
    counselor to repair "rally
    damaged" relations.

Bring your "glad rags" for Saturday
    evening's "Hello, Hollywood,
    Hello" dinner show.
It's an extravaganza featuring dancers
    and singers performing "ditties"
    from a long time ago.

Be cautious not to close your eyes
    during Johnny Hart's magical act,
Because one minute there's an
Excalibur on stage, and the next
it disappears . . . just like that!

On Sunday morning a continental
breakfast will be served in the
    Excalibur compound at 8,
So our owners can polish, dust, wax
and shine their Excaliburs so they
    look just great. . .

For the Concours de Elegance is scored
on a point system, you see,
And owners will be awarded trophies
for the best of Series I, II and III.

The categories your car's judged on
    include the body, engine and
    interior,
And just like Bo Derek, of movie fame,
    a 10 means your automobile
    is superior.

You can tour Harrah's Automotive
    Museum while the judges are
    tallying the scores
And see this classic collection of
    Duesenbergs, Bugattis and more.

At 12:30 in the MGM ballroom we'll
    have brunch and announce
    the awards.
To the owners whose cars scored the
    highest, we'll present the coveted
    Circle and Sword.

Now that you know the full story, we
know you will want to attend.
Be sure to reserve early for the Reno
    "Swing Era" Rally weekend.

Your deluxe accomodations will be at the MGM Grand Hotel which boasts the largest casino in the world.

Judging for the Concours de Elegance and socializing with other Excalibur Owners takes place in the secured Excalibur Compound.
