Lynda Crystal . . .
Actress with an international flair

    Cosmopolitan beauty Linda Crystal, a native of Argentina, is returning to the limelight this Autumn in a television mini-series called "Condominium".
    Ms. Crystal has a total of 37 movies to her credit, having appeared over the years with such names as Jimmy Stewart, Tony Curtis, John Wayne and Charles Bronson. But she is probably best remembered for her starring role in the television series "High Chapparal" which for five years in the late 60's rode the popularity circuit for Ms. Crystal and Cameron Mitchell.
    Linda Crystal was playing lead roles in Mexican movies at the age of 16. Before she came to Hollywood in 1958, she had already appeared in films in Europe, South and Central America, Italy and Spain. Her appeal in these countries was a "natural", since she speaks fluent Italian, French and Spanish.

    Although her life has been a busy one in films and on television, she is not sure that she would like to see her sons, Jordan 18, and Greg 16, follow her career. "For a woman, it is not a bad profession," she says. But she points out that it might be a bit more "precarious' for a man to use acting as a profession "to feed his family."
    Not to worry, since Greg seems headed for computer technology (he has already "computerized" their home), while Jordan seems destined to be a lawyer.
    Travel is second nature to Linda Crystal, with such stops as Paris, Rome, and Montevideo on her itinerary. She is particularly fond of her birthplace of Buenos Aires, where her father was publisher of a magazine called "For You" which was devoted to fashion and world events, and which helped shape young Linda's future.

    A practical woman, Linda has a number of real estate investments and homes in Beverly Hills, Palm Springs and Mexico. When home, she gardens, swims and keeps busy decorating her various dwellings.
    As is the case with so many Hollywood stars, she counts her closest friends people from outside the movie and television colony. And when she is relaxing, she likes nothing better than to take out her cream colored Excalibur for a spin. Purchased two years ago, the luxury automobile features some special adaptations including a CB radio and interior lamps.
    In other words, she travels in style!

Linda Crystal enjoys to traveling in style. When in the Beverly Hills area, her mode of transportation is often her cream colored Excalibur.
