Letters to the Editor

Dear Dave and Steve,
What more can we say but "Thank You" for a Super, Lovely Excalibur weekend. It was such a pleasure for us to be part of it all. I'm working on Bob to order me a new white with maroon Excalibur.
      Love You Both,
      "Dottie" and Bob Shaw

Gentlemen,
Our first "Excalibur Owners' Rally" was an event we shall long remember. Your hospitality is truly beyond compare. The planning which is required for such an event was most evident.
Many thanks to you and your employees for making this a most interesting and fun-filled weekend.
      Sincerely,
      Joe and Sandra Dixon Malone,
      Wisconsin

Dear Steve,
A few lines to tell you how much I enjoyed my weekend at the Excalibur rally.
Your company's hospitality was the most. I appreciated the food, drink, museum, events, gift, people and especially your service department and its personnel. To sum it up, the meet was a very pleasant occasion. I hope to become a regular. As I told you Saturday at the factory, I am very enthusiastic about the new Excalibur IV. I hope there may be one in my future.
I would be interested in knowing the new prices which were announced to your dealers on Monday, and if there is a possibility of chasing one this year which may be turned down by a previously committed buyer.
Thanks again for a nice weekend.

Editor's Note: The price of the Series IV Excalibur Phaeton, ef- fective October 1, 1980, is $43,700 FOB Milwaukee.

Gentlemen:
Just wanted to thank all the officials, families and employees of Excalibur Automobile Corporation for all their planning and hard work that made for such an enjoyable meet. We had a great time.
      Sincerely,

Dear Steve,
I love my new car! This is the best yet by far. Continued good luck, and whistle if I can help in any way.
      Best Personal Regards,

Dear Friends,
I own an Excalibur (1974) since 1976 which is the best advertising for my antique shops you can think of. There are only about 15 Excaliburs running in Western Germany.
I took my Excalibur on a trip through Southern France and in Marseille so many people stood around the car, I could hardly photograph it.
Enclosed is a picture of me and my Excalibur in front of my antique shop in Flensburg, Germany. Note the proud owners smile!
      Sincerely yours,

Dear Dave and Steve,
We feel sure that by this time you have probably received many cards and letters thanking you for the hospitality extended at the rally. May we just say that in our opinion, you really did this rally up "TEXAS STYLE" - bigger and better. We both feel real proud to be a Member of the Team. We appreciate the attention put forth by you and your employees to solving our problems and making us real Excalibur cheerleaders.
We have told all of our friends that you stand behind your product to the point of flying your mechanics out to fix sick Excaliburs that no one else is trained to fix. Boy, if that isn't impressive when we tell them that . . . They all just wish they had that kind of service from G/M, etc. on their autos. We are trying to convert them all to Excaliburs, however, it is kind of nice to be one of the exclusive in Ft. Worth. Boy, what an ego massager!
Please pass along our thanks to the girls for their part in making the rally something to remember; building hopes of attending the next one.
Also, we would like to thank the boys in the Service Dept. for their efforts in getting us back on the road in grand style.
We both hope to see you all again in the near future, so watch for that white Excalibur with the Texas license plate and the shotgun in the back.
      Best regards,
      Alva & Gene Handly
