afternoon cruise and lunch on the historic "Lady of Lake Tahoe."
The M. S. Dixie, Lake Tahoe's largest and most popular cruise vessel, is rich in history and nostalgia as she cruises one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the world. Her three spacious decks afford passengers the opportunity to view the majestic Sierra Nevadas with its panorama of forests dramatically sweeping down to meet the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe. Reminiscent of a  Civil War

era riverboat, this graceful old paddle-wheeler, along with entertainment by a live Dixieland band, will take you back to a time when riverboat gamblers frequented her salons.
After returning to Reno later in the afternoon and having a chance to change into appropriate western attire, we'll mosey on over to the wildest rodeo either side of the Rockies.
The Reno Rodeo High Roller Round-up is the largest six  performance  rodeo

in the United States. With a projected prize purse of $140,000, it attracts the top cowboys in the country.
The fastest growing rodeo in the country, events include: bull riding, saddle bronc, bare back riding, calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling, wild horse racing and ladies barrel racing. And all the thrills, spills and danger are as close as the tips of your boots.
The Reno Rodeo High Roller Round- up is the only rodeo of its size in the country which has no paid staff. It is run by the Reno Rodeo Association, a non- profit organization of 100 local businessmen. In addition, it is one of only two rodeos in the country which will twice have been televised nationally by Blair Sports Network.
In conjunction with the Reno Rodeo is a gala carnival that features exhibitions, fireworks and night show entertainment.
Sunday morning, at 9 a.m., will begin the judging for Excalibur's famous Concours d'Elegance in which Series I, II, III and IV's will be judged in such categories as body, engine and interior excellence. There will be a tour of Harrah's Museum during the judging. Harrah's has the world's largest collection of antique and classic automobiles. Concours d'Elegance winners will be awarded trophies at the noon brunch in the MGM Grand Ballroom, a fit finale to a Western style, weekend you won't want to miss.
