Although the July 1 R.S.V.P. deadline is past, we want to remind you to mark your calendars for August 20 & 21 -- the dates for the Fifth Annual Excaliburs Owner's Meet Preliminary indications from Excalibur Corporation forsee an excellent turnout.
Your responses to our insurance questionnaire were certainly appreciated. As most of you should know. we included the questionnaires with our 2nd. issue of "The Excalibur Roundtable". To date, we have recieved 24 responses. Premiums paid ranged from $165.00 to $3,000.00. The average premium, based on our sample, is $735.00 Naturally, ranges and averages do not tell the whole story. Several of you contacted us and indicated an inability to obtain any insurance -- at all! Several more owners responded that they carried liability only, with no physical damage. Evidently the absence of physical damage coverage was necessitated by high premiums or inability to obtain coverage -- at any price.
The insurance questionaires, along with a summary of the responces, have been forwarded to an insurance agency for further study. Based on the sumary results, it's obvious that insurance coverage is available, often at reasonable rates. We have not, to date, uncovered the names of any brokers who specialize in classical car coverage -- especial in a variety of different states. We would be interested in obtaining the names and addresses of any firms that have the capability to insure Excaliburs in the different states. In the meantime, those of you with no coverage should continue to shop around -- it is available.
We ran across a program that may be of interest to some of you -- buying and selling automobiles through your Keoch, I.R.A. or Corporate retirement plans. Since this sounds more interesting than investing one's money in savings accounts, we're passing along the name and address of the sponsoring organization:
                Capital Review Corporation
                340 Second Street
                P.O. Box 246
                Los Altos, California 94022
                Ph. 415 948-9320
If you contact them, they will send you additional information. The Excalibur Association has had no dealings or experience with this organization. We are merely publishing this information as an interesting idea. Perhaps some of you have experience in this area-let's hear from you.
The Dcember, 1975 issue, of "Car Classics" contains an in-depth article concerning the Series III Excalibur. The article includes a vast array of data about the construction specifications of the Excalibur, plus enough "human interest" to make it well worth reading.
Included in the same issue is an article by a model engineer in England, Gerald Wingrone. Mr. Wingrone specializes in building models of cars, ships, and aircraft of historic interest. In this particular issue, he describes how he constructed a model of the Hispano-Suiza. Apparently Mr.
Wingrone builds these models for individual clients,  at  their

 request.
Anyone interested in obtaining a back issue of the
December, 1975 magazine should send $3.00 to :
                Car Classics
                P.O. Box 547
                Chatsworth, CA 91311
Please notice the change in our publication dates. The "Roundtable" will be published in Feburary, May, August, and November, effective with this issue.
If you have a change in address or any further information that you want the Excalibur Association to record, please DO NOT try to reach us through the Excalibur Corporation in Milwaukee. The Association is completely independent from the Excalibur Corporation, and your contacting them, with information intended for the Association, only interrupts their other activities and delays our recieving your message.
Please direct your information to:
                The Excalibur Assocation
                P.O. Box 216
                North Judson, IN 46366
Since the publication of our second newsletter, we have added 12 new members. In addition, we have received numerous inquiries from persons interested in receiving additional information. We have established the procedure of placing the names of interested persons on our non-member mailing list. Therefore, you will receive information periodically as we release it to all non-members, we certainly
appreciate your interest. This will be the last issue of the Roundtable that will be mailed to non-members on a reguair
basis. So better act now -- sign up for membership

Because we are interested in making the membership plaques of the highest quality, we are experiencing some delays. It is difficult for our one and only craftsman to keep up in the hand Grafting of each individual plaque; however, we feel the additions! time investment will be well worth it.

YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE

We have encountered several problems with new members names being mis-spelled. Since no one likes to have their name spelled incorrectly, please help us get it correct the first time by typing or printing your name on the membership application.
