LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
..............................................................................................................
I have been interested in the Excalibur
automobile since my days in highschool.
Recently I read about the Excalibur in a copy of
Buyer's Guide Reports, hi the article, I noticed that a publication
called The Roundtable is sent to owners and often includes a listing of
Excaliburs for sale.
My reason for writing this letter is to ask for a
subscription to The Roundtable. Please bill me for the costs.
Thank you very much.

Thanks for informing us that we were given
recognition in the Buyers Guide Reports - this came as news to Us. We
are sending you a complementary copy of the last quarterly Roundtable.

1st Place Winner of
Longest Distance traveled was Mrs. Louis Lombardo of
Lombard,Ill. who had just arrived in time to enter the judging after
having driven the Series II Phaeton from the West Coast accompanied by
her poodle.
Had an award been granted for outstanding costume of the nostalgic era
Mr. and Mrs. Lombardo would certainly have
been winners.

1st. Place
in Series n Concours Mr. & Mrs. Max Dilley of Urbana, Dl. with their 73
Roadster
I've been a member for a few months and enjoy
your "Round Table" publication.
I'd like to be listed as a new member in your
next issue, if possible. I'd like to keep in touch with local owners.
Thanks Jim!

Thank you Doctor Ricci for the input and the
accessory order. Publishing your letter I'm sure will get the message
across that you would like to keep in touch with brother members of our
Excalibur Assn. Have a nice day.

I'd like information on your club and membership
fees. I'm searching for a good Excalibur and in doing so, I'd like to
become a member of your club. I'm hoping the club will provide
information concerning normal problems and their solutions, body parts
availability, general parts crossreferencing with info on what model GM
vehicle the part is from. Most of all I'd hope to see a listing of
Excalibur owners interested in selling their car.
Thank you for your help and information.

Hi Gary,
Thank you very much for the inquiry. We have
mailed you info on our Assn. I'm sure you will see by reading our latest
Roundtable edition that what you are asking for is precisely what we are
attempting to do. We will be getting more and more into cross
referencing of parts in future Excalibur Comer articles. Concerning the
sale of used Excaliburs, we find at this point in time we have far more
buyers than sellers. This however makes for a strong sustained high
value investment in the ownership of an Excalibur. Sure beats buying a
Detroit luxury liner for approx. $15,000 and finding out 2 years later
that they're now worth about $5,000 to 7,000.
Thanks

I am writing in request of information concerning
the musical air horns I heard at the meet in Milwaukee.
Recently, I purchased a set of six musical air
horns for Jubilee Manufacturing in Omaha, Nebraska. This set has tune
discs which are placed in the compressor to play a variety of tunes. The
horns are chrome-plated plastic. After spending several hours assembling
the set, I dismantled it and returned it. I was very disappointed in the
tonal quality of the horns. They just did not have the resonance of
those that I heard in |
